Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking a meticulous Tester to join our software quality team. You will design test plans, run functional and non-functional tests, and collaborate with developers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will leverage Selenium, Appium and JMeter to automate tests, document results clearly, and advocate best practices across the SDLC in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field (preferred).
• Experience with functional, regression, load testing (and UAT).
• Proficiency in writing clear test cases and reports.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, JMeter.
• Familiarity with SDLC and agile/scrum (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases to identify defects.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Utilize testing tools (Selenium, Appium, JMeter) to automate tests.
• Analyze and document test results, providing reports and recommendations.

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Tester to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis.

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Utilize testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter) to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency
• Analyze and document test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques (e.g., functional testing, regression testing, load testing)
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter)
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and reports
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in agile/scrum development methodologies (preferred)
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (preferred)
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) (preferred)
