Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an electro-mechanical assembler for a 12-month contract with a 4:30 PM–1:30 AM permanent PM shift.

The role involves following schematics to assemble, repair, and test electrical and pneumatic components, and performing troubleshooting and repairs as needed. The position requires a Diploma or Nitec and the ability to work in a clean room environment, including potential extended squatting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Nitec qualification.
• Able to perform electro-mechanical assembly operations.
• Troubleshooting, repair & maintenance and testing of pneumatic systems/machines.
• Working in clean room environment - may be exposed to high or small spaces, must be comfortable to squat for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies and subassemblies following work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical assemblies; identify and correct errors during build process.
• Use test fixtures, measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to evaluate performance of assemblies and components.
• Record progress and labor details in computer systems.
• Receive and inspect parts, ensure materials availability, and audit readiness for assembly/testing/repair; check components for defects and assist with process improvements.
• May assist with computer programming, software installations, and system repairs as needed.
