Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a senior Test Manager to lead a team of test engineers and shape comprehensive testing strategies across software releases and infrastructure components.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize testing, manage resources, mentor staff, and drive quality initiatives throughout the SDLC, including functional, performance, and security testing.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• 8+ years of system testing experience.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team of testers.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Hands-on experience in manual and/or automation test execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, approaches, plans and test cases for software releases and infrastructure components.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, performance and security testing.
• Work closely with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align testing priorities with project goals.
• Manage test activities, resources and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify, report and track defects through to resolution, working with stakeholders and IT teams.
• Ensure the overall quality of project deliverables.
• Provide timely updates on test progress, risks and issues to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and implement testing tools and automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Produce testing documentation in line with project standards and frameworks.
• Support projects throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and infrastructure.
