Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a team lead for AE/Technicians to drive debug activities on server and rack products that fail during production. The role involves testing, analyzing, and collaborating with customer and HQ/factory to implement improvements.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 2 years in product testing, plus working knowledge of Linux and programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 2 years in product test
• Ability to collaborate with customer, test/R&D, and system teams
• Linux and programming knowledge is advantageous
• Good understanding of test and debugging methods and concepts

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of AE/Technicians to perform debug for server and rack products post-failure in production
• Test, analyze, troubleshoot failures and coordinate with customer and HQ/factory for improvements
• Diagnose root causes and isolate components or failure modes
• Collaborate with relevant parties for improvements and participate in Kaizen activities
• Prepare and update Working Instructions as needed and train technicians on WI
• Support NPI process and mass production during ramp
• Participate in ISO activities (implementation & maintenance)

Job description

Responsibilities:

• To lead a team of AE / Technicians to carry out all the debug related activities for Server & Rack products that tested failure during the production
• To test, analyze and perform troubleshooting on product failures and work back with customer & HQ / factory for improvement
• Diagnose the root cause of failure and isolate the components or failure modes
• Work with relevant parties for improvementactivities
• Participate in the Kaizen activities
• To prepare and update Working Instruction if necessary
• To provide training over W/I to technicians
• To support the NPI Process and production on the mass run
• Participate in ISO activities (implementation & maintenance)

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering discipline with min 2 years relevant experience in product test role
• Ability to work with the customer & test/R&D/system teams
• Linux & programming knowledge (preferably)
• Good understanding of test & debug methods and concepts
