Job summary

MEDS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a RF Test Engineer to perform RF testing and basic troubleshooting to support manufacturing and product quality objectives. You will operate RF test instruments and document results in internal systems.

The role requires reading test procedures, engineering drawings, and technical documentation, plus maintaining test equipment and contributing to continuous improvement while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical or Telecommunications.
• Experience in RF testing, electronics manufacturing, or test environments is an advantage.
• At least 3–5 years of related microelectronics RF test experience.
• Knowledge of RF measurement principles and test methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment is desired.
• Ability to read test procedures, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF testing on products and modules in accordance with procedures and quality standards.
• Operate RF test instruments including Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter.
• Execute standard and advanced RF tests independently.
• Analyse test data and assist in identifying product performance issues.
• Support failure analysis and debugging to determine root causes of test failures.
• Basic troubleshooting and debugging of RF modules and assemblies.
• Maintain assigned test equipment in good working condition.
• Report equipment abnormalities and support corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Accurately record and maintain test results in internal systems.
• Follow quality procedures and documentation standards.

RF Test Engineer is responsible for performing RF testing and basic troubleshooting to support manufacturing and product quality objectives. The role requires proficiency in RF test equipment, adherence to testing procedures and accurate documentation of results.

RF Testing & Validation

• Perform RF testing on products and modules in accordance with approved test procedures and quality standards.
• Operate RF test instruments including Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter
• Execute standard and advanced RF tests independently.
• Analyse test data and assist in identifying product performance issues.
• Support failure analysis and debugging activities to determine root causes of test failures.
• Basic troubleshooting and debugging of RF modules and assemblies.
• Maintain assigned test equipment in good working condition.
• Perform routine equipment verification, calibration coordination, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Report equipment abnormalities and support corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Documentation & Quality Compliance

• Accurately record and maintain test results in internal systems.
• Ensure all test data is complete, traceable, and compliant with company quality requirements.
• Follow established work instructions, quality procedures, and documentation standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute ideas for improving test efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing productivity.
• Recommend cost-effective solutions to enhance test methods and reduce operational costs.
• Support implementation of process improvement initiatives and best practices.

Job Requirements

• Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related technical disciplines
• Experience in RF testing, electronics manufacturing, or test environments is an advantage.
• At least 3-5 years of related microelectronics RF test experience. Preferably in an engineering manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of RF measurement principles and test methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment is desired.
• Ability to read test procedures, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
