Job summary

A Singapore-based electronics firm is seeking a skilled technician for the setup, calibration, debugging, and maintenance of test equipment on the production line. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves ensuring accurate testing and supporting improvements in equipment performance, requiring both technical skills and strong adaptability to new technologies.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Responsible for the setup, calibration, debugging, and maintenance of test equipment on the production line. Ensures accurate testing, stable equipment performance, and supports FPY improvement through technical troubleshooting and continuous optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Set up and commission test equipment on production lines; support FPY improvement through accurate debugging.
2. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise equipment failure rates.
3. Calibrate test systems and adjust test programs according to product testing requirements.
4. Configure and support MES test-related applications on the production line.
5. Respond quickly to test equipment issues during production and provide timely technical support.
6. Train operators on proper test equipment usage and safety practices.
7. Record and analyse equipment performance data; recommend improvements to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in test equipment commissioning or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
