Job summary

EGP SMART ENERGY PTE. LTD in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Tender team and support the preparation of competitive, accurate tender submissions for electrical and engineering projects.

The role focuses on tender review, quantity take-off, cost estimation, quotation sourcing, pricing analysis and tender documentation, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure thorough submissions.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, tendering, cost estimation or contract administration.
• Experience in electrical, M&E, infrastructure, industrial construction or engineering projects will be an advantage.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, tender specifications and BOQ.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant costing or QS tools.
• Able to work independently and coordinate well with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review tender requirements, specifications, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and related documents.
• Carry out quantity take-off, cost estimation and tender pricing.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Prepare cost comparisons, budgets and value-engineering proposals.
• Support preparation and submission of tender documents.
• Identify cost risks, potential savings and commercial considerations during tender preparation.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to obtain technical and commercial inputs required for tender submissions.
• Maintain proper tender, costing and supporting documentation.
