Job summary

Barnes Aerospace Singapore is seeking a Temp Logistics Assistant to support inbound/outbound shipments in a dynamic MRO environment. You will verify documents, assist in packing, and coordinate with logistics providers, while handling lifting equipment as needed.

A relevant EPC/level of ERP familiarity and a valid license are required. The role involves manual material handling, attention to compliance, and collaboration with the Logistics Officer to ensure timely deliveries and accurate

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in ERP systems, lifting devices and MHE.
• Able to interpret job travelers and knowledge on outbound shipment packing and documentation.
• Possess a Class 3 Driving License and Forklift License.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook applications.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipment content against shipping documents provided.
• Reject damaged items and record discrepancies.
• Assist in material picking against pick list.
• Assist in packing of outbound shipments.
• Assist Logistics Officer in coordinating with logistics provider on shipment collection.
• Visual inspect material for defects and report issues.
• Operate lift trucks, hand trucks, forklifts, stackers, or other equipment to move materials.
• Deliver/collect goods to/from assigned locations using company vehicle (adhoc).
• Wear PPE as required.
• Comply with all company and safety rules.
• Assist in preparing shipping documents and shipment arrangements (adhoc).

Core Responsibilities:

• Verify shipment content against shipping documents provided.
• Reject damage items and record discrepancies.
• Assist in material picking against pick list.
• Assist in packing of outbound shipments.
• Assist Logistics Officer in coordinating with logistics provider on shipment collection.
• Visual inspect material for defects and report these and any unusual situation immediately.
• Operate lift trucks, hand trucks, forklifts, stackers, or any other lifting or material handling equipment/devices to move, convey, or hoist materials or products, following the training provided.
• Deliver/collect goods to/from assigned locations using company vehicle (adhoc assignment).
• Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
• Assist in preparing shipping documents and arrangement of shipment (adhoc assisgnment).
