Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte ltd is seeking a senior Test Lead to manage functional, regression and automation efforts for Temenos T24 projects in Private Banking. The role focuses on test design, data management and environment planning with close collaboration to BA and Dev teams.

The candidate will mentor testing teams across locations, drive agile practices, and ensure high quality software delivery with proactive risk and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor testing teams for functional and non-functional testing.
• Plan, execute and manage test design, data, environments and automation.
• Review requirements and specs to define test scope and plan.
• Drive defect management and risk mitigation across multiple teams.
• Report status and raise issues and optimizations proactively.
• Coordinate with BA and Dev teams to improve upstream quality.

Job description

Functional / Technical

• Lead and mentor testing teams for functional testing, regression, automation, NFR for large Temenos T24 projects in the Private banking domain.
• Test planning and execution including the test design, data management, environment planning, automation, non-functional testing, regression, defect management and test closure
• Review and analyse Business requirements and system specifications to define test approach, scope and test plan.
• Work collaboratively with various team to achieve goals.
• Status reporting and able to drive the defect management across multiple teams.
• Proactively raise issues, risks and recommend optimal solutions.
• Work with the BA and Dev teams to drive even the upstream software quality (Requirements, Development Solutions)

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Technical and Functional

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in test lead role for T24 projects, preferably with Private Banking
• Good knowledge of Securities, Payments, Corporate Actions, Derivatives, Structured Products, Accounting, Pricing, Portfolio Management, Forex, Treasury, Lending domains in Private Banking
• Excellent knowledge of T24 modules for these domains
• Excellent knowledge of and exposure to testing of T24 integration, COB testing, Client output
• Excellent knowledge of SWIFT message testing, regulatory reports
• Expertise in financial accounting for all asset types
• Expertise in working on Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban / SAFE
• Good know how of JAVA and experience in Automation, DevOps is an advantage
• Understanding / Experience of Automation tools (Selenium) and DevOps concepts to drive Automation in projects.
• Agile planning tools – JIRA, Confluence
