Job summary

HUA DA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a detail-oriented engineer to develop 3D models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures and to prepare shop and erection drawings for fabrication and site installation.

You will coordinate with engineers, architects and project managers, generate BOMs and material take-offs, and ensure QA of drawings to meet project standards.

Qualifications

• Experience creating 3D models of structural steel components.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, assembly drawings, and erection plans.
• Ability to interpret architectural/structural drawings for compliance.
• Experience coordinating with engineers, architects and project managers.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Develop detailed 3D models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures.
• Shop drawings: Prepare shop drawings, assembly drawings, and erection plans for fabrication and site installation.
• Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Documentation: Generate BOMs, material take-offs, and reports to support procurement and fabrication.
• Quality Assurance: Review and interpret drawings to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Issue Resolution: Communicate with fabricators and erectors to resolve discrepancies during production or construction.
