Job summary

Major Global Bank in Singapore is seeking a Technology Risk Manager to support a multi-year core banking transformation and global transaction portfolio. Based in Singapore, you will leverage IT risk, governance, and controls expertise to drive risk-based decisions across projects.

You will collaborate with technology, security, and business teams, report to governance forums, and contribute to risk remediation. Hybrid work arrangements are available in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in technology risk, IT audit, or related fields.
• Experience in banking/regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Risk or related discipline.
• CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology risk governance and oversight across strategic transformation and technology initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and control reviews throughout project lifecycles.
• Review and challenge risk exceptions, control gaps, and remediation plans.

About the Role

Major Global Bank is seeking for a Technology Risk Manager who will be based in Singapore and will be supporting their multi-year core banking transformation program and Global Transaction project portfolio. The client is looking for a driven individual with excellent communication skills and IT Risk experience within banking industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technology risk governance and oversight across strategic transformation and technology initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments and control reviews throughout project lifecycles
• Review and challenge risk exceptions, control gaps, and remediation plans
• Partner with technology, project, security, and business teams to identify and manage technology risks
• Ensure key risk issues are appropriately tracked, escalated, and remediated
• Support governance forums, risk committees, and stakeholder reporting
• Promote effective risk management practices across project and technology teams
• Drive continuous improvement of technology risk and governance processes

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, Technology Controls, Risk Assurance, Information Security, or Technology Governance
• Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments
• Good understanding of technology risk management and control frameworks
• Experience supporting technology transformation, application development, or SDLC-related initiatives
• Proven ability to perform risk assessments and evaluate control effectiveness
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, Audit, or a related discipline
• Good to have: Risk / Security Certification (CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
