The internship will take place within Micron Technology Inc., Singapore; interns may be assigned to projects located at Fab10, Woodlands, or Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations, Bendemeer. Project allocation will be determined based on business needs, technical fit, and project availability.

Project Scope and Responsibilities

• Support the development of next‑generation semiconductor technologies.
• Conduct technical investigations and engineering research.
• Evaluate process, material, device, and integration performance.
• Generate insights that support technology innovation.
• Contribute to engineering solutions that enable future memory technology advancements.
• Collaborate with researchers and technology development engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
• Leverage AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or simulation tools to accelerate research and technology development activities.

Skillsets Required

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex technical and experimental data.
• Prior research, laboratory, teaching assistantship, industry attachment, or engineering project experience (highly advantageous).
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, modelling, simulation, programming, or data analytics tools (advantageous).
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or AI‑enabled engineering workflows (advantageous).
• Demonstrated interest in semiconductor technology, semiconductor manufacturing, memory technologies, or advanced engineering research.
• Prior working experience and a strong interest in pursuing a career within the semiconductor industry (highly desirable).

Course of Interest

Ideal candidates should be pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Technology, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Duration and Commitment

Ideal candidates should be able to commit to a full‑time internship period of at least 4 months.
