Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Singapore Component Repair is seeking a skilled TIG welder to refurbish aircraft engine components onsite. You will perform TIG welding to high quality standards and support benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing and cold working processes.

You may be trained on new automation machines, attend EH&S training, and contribute to CORE continuous improvement activities. Rotating day/night shifts and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• GCE ’O’ Level or NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical or relevant disciplines.
• 2 years relevant experience in TIG welding.
• Comfortable to learn new welding methodology.
• Ability to understand and follow technical drawing and SOPs.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and hands-on.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• GCE ’O’ Level or NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical or relevant disciplines.
• 2 years relevant experience in TIG welding.
• Comfortable to learn new welding methodology.
• Ability to understand and follow technical drawing and standard operation procedures (SOP).
• Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Familiar with the relevant air worthiness and regulatory agencies requirements.
• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience.
• Attended external trainings with welding certification.
