Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Residential Management Company of Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the Engineering Department.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect systems, diagnose faults, and assist in daily operations to ensure safe, reliable operations across residences. Ideal candidates will have basic maintenance and electrical knowledge, a team mindset, and familiarity with building services.

Qualifications

• Basic skills in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building equipment.
• Willingness to work as a team.
• Knowledge of hotel/residences maintenance and management is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical/plumbing and building engineering.
• Electrical control and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to sound engineering practices, building codes and safety precautions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment; cleaning and lubrication; visual inspection.
• Execute preventive management and repair schedules for machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Inspect and maintain machinery; troubleshoot, diagnose, repair or replace defective systems.
• Use Lockout/Tagout before maintenance work.
• Daily routine checks of pump room, consumer switch room, and MDF rooms.
• Assist supervisor in day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department.
• Perform repairs such as changing light bulbs in common/amenity areas.
• Participate in fire-fighting and safety & fire evacuation exercises.
• Address Residence owners professionally and promptly.
• Listen and respond to owners' questions/requests using brand processes to resolve issues and build trust.
• Ensure residents are satisfied with maintenance services.
• Keep assets in good working condition and preserve long-term value.
• Follow all safety policies; report hazards; complete safety training; store flammable materials safely.
• Comply with Marriott standards in maintenance upkeep and fire life safety.

Position Summary

• To execute preventive management and repair schedules of the machinery, equipment, and facilities of our residences
• Inspect and maintain machinery, troubleshoots, diagnoses, repair or replaces defective systems or components.
• Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
• Daily routine check of the pump room, consumer switch room, MDF rooms.
• Assist supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department.
• Perform repairs such as changing light bulbs in the common areas and amenity spaces
• Participate in fire-fighting and safety & fire evacuation exercises.
• Address Residence owners’ in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Actively listen and respond positively to the Residence owners questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
• To ensure that our residents are satisfied with the quality of services rendered by the Engineering Department
• To ensure that our assets within the residences are kept in good working condition, thereby preserving its long term value.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials.
• To comply with Marriott standards in terms of maintenance upkeep & Fire Life Safety.

Job Requirements
