Job summary

TechPower Engineering PTE LTD is seeking a proactive individual to assist in configuring, installing, testing, and commissioning rail systems at project sites. You will support on-site testing and fault rectification under engineering supervision, and help prepare testing records and reports.

This role requires a diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec in electrical/electronics or related fields, a keen interest in rail systems, and a willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends when needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Assistant Engineers and Engineers in system configuration, installation, testing, and commissioning of rail systems.
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, and fault rectification under engineering supervision.
• Assist in conducting functional tests to ensure systems operate according to project specifications.
• Perform on-site technical support and maintenance activities as required.
• Prepare and maintain testing records, technical documentation, and reports.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to support project activities and resolve technical issues.
• Comply with site safety regulations, work procedures, and project requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Interest in rail systems, system configuration, and testing activities.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, or computer systems will be an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site and support rail project activities.
• Willing to work shifts, night duty, weekends, or overtime when required.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn from the engineering team.
