Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Diploma-qualified inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections on aircraft components and repairables.

You will work with SAP and MS Office to document inspections and ensure compliance with technical data. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, independence, and willingness to work night shifts and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • 2 years of experience with inspection equipment and visual inspection aids; or entry-level candidates keen on aerospace.
  • Ability to understand technical instructions and SOPs.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details; hands-on approach.
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently with a positive attitude to change.
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work Night Shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft component parts.
  • Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of repairable parts to ensure conformance to documents and repairs.
  • Ensure parts are repaired according to prescribed standards and procedures.
  • Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures by manufacturer and data.
  • Conduct inspection in accordance with regulatory approved technical data.
  • Carry out SAP transactions and update works orders in SAP.
  • Attend EH&S training programs and ensure safety adherence.
  • Support continuous improvement programs and CORE activities.

What You Will Do
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft component parts.

  • Support the continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • 2 years relevant experience in using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids or no experience who are keen to pursue aerospace industry.
  • Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands‑on approach.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commit to work on Night Shift and overtime on need basis.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Relevant aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering experience.
  • Familiar with the relevant air worthiness and regulatory agencies requirements.
