Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft component parts.
- Conduct incoming, in‑process and final inspection of repairable parts components to ensure conformance to related documents and required repairs.
- Ensure parts are repaired according to prescribed standards and procedures.
- Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the product being inspected.
- Conduct inspection in accordance with regulatory approved technical data.
- Carry out SAP transactions and make necessary changes to work orders in SAP.
- Attend EH&S training programs and take personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
- Support continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- 2 years relevant experience in using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids, or no experience but keen to pursue an aerospace career.
- Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP.
- Meticulous with an eye for detail and a hands‑on approach.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to work on night shift and overtime on a need basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering experience.
- Familiarity with relevant airworthiness and regulatory agencies requirements.
