Job summary

Howco Group is looking for an entry-level Warehouse/Shop Floor Operator to support saw operations in our Singapore facility.

You will operate band-saw machines, assist in material handling, lift and move items with forklifts, and help maintain a clean, safe shop floor while following the production schedule. Training will be provided, no prior experience is required.

Attention to detail, teamwork, and planning skills are valued as you contribute to timely deliveries and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are welcome; training will be provided.
• Secondary education level or equivalent
• Knowledge in using measuring equipment and tools
• Forklift License will be an advantage
• Willing to work overtime if required

Responsibilities

• Operate Band-Saw Machines
• Maintaining and Tagging of Incoming Materials
• Coordinate on material movement
• Maintain the tidiness of the shop floor in a safe and efficient manner
• Understand and follow Sawing Schedule
• To engage in lifting, transporting, storing, and also loading of long and short Materials utilizing Forklift and Lifting Machine
• Responsible for picking and packing of sawn / finished products in accordance to requirement
• Assist in loading/unloading if required
• Ensure all delivery paperwork are well documented and acknowledged
• Assists in warehouse duties or other ad-hoc operational duties when required
• Planning and organizational skills
