Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Singapore Component Repair site is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist to repair aircraft engine components. You will operate CNC 3-axis/5-axis machines, perform grinding, milling and EDM, and contribute to quality and safety standards.

On-site role with day/night rotating shifts, on-the-job training, and opportunities for certifications. Relevant aerospace/manufacturing experience is a plus; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Qualifications

• GCE ’O’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• Relevant CNC 3-axis, 5-axis or conventional machining experience or keen interests to learn machining operations.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and SOPs.
• Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with equipment, tools and machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform machining operations to repair aircraft engine components and meet quality standards (CNC, Lathe, Grinding, Milling & EDM).
• Cross-train to support the repair & overhaul of aero-engine components by benching, blasting, blending, polishing or other required mechanical skills.
• Perform total productive maintenance (TPM) on machines.
• Perform programming and troubleshooting as required by the engineer.
• Follow procedures and guidelines to meet operational requirements and quality standards.
• Report any incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor.
• Attend EH&S training programs and take responsibility to ensure safety adherence.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• GCE ’O’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
• Relevant CNC 3-axis, 5-axis or conventional machining experience or keen interests to learn machining operations.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
• Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with equipment, tools and machines.
• Basic oral and written English language skill.
• A curious and learning mindset – we provide on-the-job trainings and certifications.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience is a plus.
