Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking skilled machinists to support repair and overhaul of aircraft engine components in Singapore. You will perform tube bending, CNC/lathe/milling operations and adhere to quality standards while maintaining safety procedures.

Training is provided; night shifts and overtime may be required. Prior aerospace or precision engineering experience is a plus, with on-the-job certifications offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tube Bending, CNC 3-axis/5-axis or conventional machining.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs and technical instructions.
• Hands-on with equipment, tools and machines; strong safety mindset.

What You Will Do

Perform machining operations to repair aircraft engine components and meet quality standards (Tube Bending, CNC, Lathe Machining, Grinding, Milling & EDM etc).

Cross-train to support the repair & overhaul of the aero-engine components by benching, blasting, blending, polishing or using other required mechanical skills.

Perform total productive maintenance (TPM) on machines.

Perform programming and troubleshooting as required by the engineer.

Follow procedures and guidelines to meet operational requirements and quality standards.

Report any incidents, hazardous conditions, and emergencies to the supervisor.

Perform an assessment of risk of the activities and take corrective and preventive actions.

Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.

Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.

Support the continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities.

Qualifications You Must Have

GCE ’O’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.

Experienced in Tube Bending, CNC 3-axis, 5-axis or conventional machining experience.

Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).

Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with equipment, tools and machines.

Basic oral and written English language skill.

A curious and learning mindset - we provide on-the-job trainings and certifications.

Willing to work on Permanent Night Shifts and overtime on need basis.

Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience is a plus.
