Job summary

INGERSOLL-RAND SINGAPORE ENTERPRISES PTE. LTD. seeks a skilled electrical professional to support repair, overhaul, and refurbishment of compressor and rotating equipment components.

You will specialize in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of compressor systems, control panels, and related equipment. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical control cubicles, distribution boards, inverter drives, and MCCs, along with strong analytical skills to diagnose faults

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial electrical or field service experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical control cubicles, distribution boards, inverter drives, and industrial electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Support overhaul and refurbishment activities for compressors and associated equipment to extend asset life.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure reliability.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical panels, DB, MCCs, control cubicles, and VFDs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct electrical inspections and functional testing to verify compliance with standards.
• Perform wiring, modifications, and upgrades to electrical control systems to enhance performance.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to guide maintenance tasks.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of faults.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
