Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Singapore is seeking an Engine Borescope Inspector to support engine maintenance and reports. You will perform receive-in and pre-delivery borescope inspections, document findings and ensure compliance with approved data and processes.

Requirements include a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering, a valid Engine Borescope Inspection certificate, and at least 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Valid Certificate in Engine Borescope Inspection.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in Engine Borescope Inspection.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical ability; quick to grasp concepts and resolve issues.
• Able to work independently, multitask and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Engine Receive-In Borescope Inspection and Engine Pre-Delivery Borescope Inspection.
• Carry out Borescope Inspection on Engine Modules and associated parts.
• Furnish Borescope report and complete documentation after completion of task.
• Execute Borescope processes per current approved data and standard work.
• Carry out Total Preventative Maintenance on Borescope Equipment.
• Resolve technical issues encountered during daily activities.
• Assist the Operations Manager/ Leader/ Foremen in day-to-day operations to achieve targets.
• Perform cross-functional jobs within the department if required.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

• Carry out Engine Receive-In Borescope Inspection, Engine Pre-Delivery Borescope Inspection.


• Carry out Borescope Inspection on Engine Modules and associate parts.


• Furnish Borescope report and complete documentation after completion of task.


• Execute Borescope processes by applying the current approved technical data and standard work processes.


• Carry out Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on Borescope Equipment.


• Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encountered during daily activities.


• Assist the Operations Manager/ Operations Leader/ Assistant Foremen in their day to day operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.


• Perform cross-functional jobs within the department if required.


• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (You Must Have)

• Possess Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant courses.


• Must hold a valid Certificate in Engine Borescope Inspection.


• Have at least 2 years maintenance experience in Engine Borescope Inspection.


• Fully competent in the suite of MS Office Software (Words, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).


• Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.


• Able to work independently, multi-task and work under pressure.

Qualifications (We Prefer)

• Experience in aircraft engine workshop operations procedures.


• Trained and capable to use G.E. Mentor (BSI equipment).


• Capable of Boreblend with appropriate training certificate and experience.


• Experience in PW4000/PW1100/GP7000 Engine model will be an added advantage.
