Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, seeks an Engine Borescope Inspector in Singapore to perform inspections on engines and modules, report findings, and support TPM.

Requires a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, a valid Engine Borescope Inspection certificate, at least 2 years of maintenance experience, and MS Office proficiency; demonstrates good analytical skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certificate in Engine Borescope Inspection is required.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in engine borescope inspection.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good analytical skills and able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Engine Receive-In Borescope Inspection and Engine Pre-Delivery Borescope Inspection.
• Carry out Borescope Inspection on Engine Modules and associated parts.
• Furnish Borescope reports and complete documentation after task completion.
• Execute Borescope processes using current approved technical data and standard work processes.
• Carry out Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on Borescope Equipment.
• Solve technical issues encountered during daily activities.
• Assist the Operations Manager/Leader/Foremen in day-to-day operations to achieve targets.
• Perform cross-functional duties within the department as required.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• Possess Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant courses.




• Must hold a valid Certificate in Engine Borescope Inspection.




• Have at least 2 years maintenance experience in Engine Borescope Inspection.




• Fully competent in the suite of MS Office Software (Words, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).




• Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.




• Able to work independently, multi-task and work under pressure.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in aircraft engine workshop operations procedures




• Trained and capable to use G.E. Mentor (BSI equipment)




• Capable of Boreblend with appropriate training certificate and experience




• Experience in PW4000/PW1100/GP7000 Engine model will be an added advantage.
