Job summary

Merlin Entertainments Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Technician to maintain the attraction's technical systems, equipment, exhibits and facilities to deliver a safe, reliable, and high-quality guest experience.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, carry out repairs, support installations and projects, and report issues to the Technical Manager while keeping accurate records. You may assist with events and emergency procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance / repair / electrical / electronic equipment or devices on attraction facilities including but not limited to amusement rides, theatre equipment, special effects, AV & lighting, air conditioning, building service, M&E, plumbing & Sanitary, fire services, etc.
• Carry out daily technical inspections before the attraction opens.
• Respond quickly to technical incidents during operating hours
• Communicate equipment faults, operational risks, and repair requirements to the Technical Manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the planned maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and complete repairs promptly to minimise operational downtime.
• Identify recurring faults and recommend practical improvements to increase equipment reliability.
• Record inspections, maintenance activities, faults, repairs, and spare-parts usage accurately.
• Maintain tools, workshops, technical rooms, and storage areas in a safe and organised condition.
• Assist contractors and external service providers during maintenance and project work.
• Support events, promotional activities, photo opportunities, and special attraction programmes when required.
• Assist with emergency procedures, evacuation support, and business-continuity activities.
• Perform other reasonable technical duties assigned by management.
