Job summary

TYWA Engineering and Construction Private Ltd. seeks an experienced Electrical Installer to support construction projects in Singapore.

You will perform installation of electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings, following approved drawings and site conditions. Candidate must have 3–4 years of relevant experience, with an ITE qualification or equivalent, and be willing to work overtime, on weekends, and at various project sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works for commercial, industrial, and building projects.
• Install cables, conduits, trunking, and containment systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, single-line diagrams, and layout plans.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, inspection, and rectification.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore electrical standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, Project Manager, and other trades for timely completion.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work area and handle tools and materials.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Carry outelectrical installation works for commercial, industrial, and buildingprojects.
• Performcable laying, routing, termination, and securing of cables in accordance withapproved drawings and site conditions.
• Installconduits, trunking, cable trays, and other electrical containment systems.
• Installdistribution boards (DBs), isolators, switches, sockets, lighting points, andother electrical fixtures and accessories.
• Read andinterpret construction drawings, electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, andlayout plans to execute electrical works accurately.
• Assist inthe testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, inspection, and rectification ofelectrical systems as required.
• Ensure allelectrical works are carried out in compliance with applicable Singaporeelectrical standards, regulations, and relevant Codes of Practice.
• Maintaingood workmanship and ensure that cable routing, termination, and installationof electrical fixtures and accessories are carried out safely and properly.
• Coordinatewith site supervisors, engineers, the Project Manager, and other trades to ensuresmooth and timely completion of project works.
• Coordinatewith the Project Manager on daily work planning, manpower requirements, andproject schedules to ensure that projects are completed within the requiredtimeframe.
• Strictlycomply with all site safety regulations, workplace safety requirements, andcompany safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain aclean, safe, and orderly work area and properly handle tools, equipment, andmaterials used for electrical installation works.
• Perform any other electricalinstallation-related duties as reasonably assigned by the Company or ProjectManager from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum3–4 years of relevant experience in electrical installation works, particularlyin construction or renovation projects.

• Candidatesshould possess at least an ITE qualification or an equivalent relevanttechnical qualification.
• Willing andable to work overtime and at various project sites as required by the Company.
• Willing andable to work on weekends and public holidays when required by the Company orproject schedule.
• Must be responsible, reliable,safety-conscious, and able to work effectively both independently and as partof a team.
