Excelitas Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an assembler to join our optical/photonic production team. Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical and optical assembly and testing, with strict adherence to ESD control and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on experience in opto-mechanical assembly, reading technical drawings and schematics, and the ability to work under supervision while contributing to continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities:

1. Operations will include, but not limited to:
   • Mechanical, electrical, optical assembly and testing.
   • ESD (Electro Static Discharge) control on the assembly with ESD sensitive component.
   • Hands on experience in optical application assembly, alignment and test.
2. Work within Company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, material control and maintain high levels of workmanship and cleanliness.
3. Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending and implementing preventative and corrective measures, working with engineering to introduce new products.
4. Highly adaptable approach and willing to transition between department to fulfill evolving business needs.

Requirements:

• GCE 'N' Level, Technical Certicate & above.
• Min 2 years hand on experience in Opto-mechanical assembly.
• Key technical skills include electrical and mechanical troubleshoorting.
• Able to interpret technical drawing and schematic.
• Able to handle lens assembly.
• Discipline, team player and able to work under minimum supervision.
• Comply to QMEHS (Quality, Environment Safety and Health) requirement.
