Job summary

DCH Group is seeking an automotive service technician in Singapore to perform vehicle servicing, repairs and OEM installations according to repair orders and quality standards. You will diagnose vehicle system components and record all work performed, with timely notification of any additional faults for approval.

Applicants with at least 1 year of diesel engine service experience and a Class 3 license have an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: N Level or NITEC in Motor Vehicle mechanics.
• At least 1 year experience in motor vehicle service and repair for diesel engines.
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive service, repairs and OEM installation as per repair order instructions according to manufacturer's required procedure and quality standard.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot on system components of the vehicle.
• Record all jobs done to the vehicle on repair done.
• Notify any addition fault or defect found in the repair process to Workshop Supervisor and obtain appropriate approval before proceeding with the repair.
• Ensure customer vehicles are cleaned after repaired.

Report to Workshop Manager and Assistant Service Manager, responsible for performance of all automotive related reapirs in achieving the Department Sales turnover objectives with fast turnaround of customer vehicles and meet quality standard.
