Job summary

SIVANTOS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Engineer to support Engineering & Project activities in Singapore, assisting in automation, ECM, and new equipment setup. You will help document, assess risks, and run trials to enable smooth production operations.

You will handle preventive maintenance, calibration, and spare parts planning while supporting Lean initiatives, 5S, and audits to sustain productivity and continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in automation, ECM, new equipment setup, equipment relocation, and other production-related projects.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, risk assessments, and records.
• Assist in sample testing, data collection, equipment installation, and trial runs.
• Modify or refurbish equipment and components as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment alarms, errors, and breakdowns, and perform root cause analysis.
• Execute and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM), autonomous maintenance (AM), and calibration activities.
• Manage maintenance schedules, machine records, and equipment ledgers.
• Ensure availability of spare parts and coordinate jig, fixture, and tooling maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement, automation, Lean, and productivity enhancement projects.
• Develop troubleshooting guides and provide training to operators and technicians.
• Maintain good 5S practices and support internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for maintenance, calibration, and engineering activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
