Job summary

Liferaft Equipment Service in Singapore is seeking a diligent technician to ensure liferaft systems comply with ISO, OEM, and SOLAS safety standards while performing routine service and testing.

You will conduct site inspections, support management with audit readiness, and supply the service team with the necessary technical information to prepare quotes. The role emphasizes timely administration, PPE compliance, and orderly workshop practices.

Qualifications

• Ensure compliance with ISO, OEM, and SOLAS safety regulations for all equipment.
• Liferaft Equipment Service tasks are performed as directed.
• Conduct routine site inspections and advise on secure workplace.
• Provide management with information needed for station audits.
• Supply technical information to the service team to enable quotes.
• Complete administrative tasks on time (job cards, equipment marking, service reports, certifications).
• Follow required safety precautions and PPE; keep workshop neat and orderly.
• Keep tools and work bays in good condition.

• Make sure that all equipment and health and safety laws and regulations are followed in accordance with ISO, Manufacturer/OEM, and SOLAS standards.

• Before starting any work, make sure the equipment is tested as directed.
• Perform routine site inspections and advise management on how to maintain a secure workplace.
• When needed, provide management with the information needed for station audits.
• Make sure the service team receives technical information so they can provide a quote.
• Make sure that all administrative tasks, including job cards, equipment marking, service reports, and certification, are finished on time.
• Make sure that all required safety precautions and the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are followed.
• Keep the workshop neat and orderly, and keep the tools and work bays in good condition.
