Job summary

Careers @ Focal Search is seeking a diligent liferaft service technician in Singapore to ensure compliance with ISO, Manufacturer/OEM, and SOLAS safety standards. The role focuses on testing equipment before use and delivering timely service reports and certifications.

You will perform routine site inspections, assist with station audits, provide technical information for quotes, handle admin tasks such as job cards, PPE compliance, and maintain a neat workshop and ready tools.

Responsibilities

• Make sure that all equipment and health and safety laws and regulations are followed in accordance with ISO, Manufacturer/OEM, and SOLAS standards.
• Before starting any work, make sure the equipment is tested as directed.
• Perform routine site inspections and advise management on how to maintain a secure workplace.
• When needed, provide management with the information needed for station audits.
• Make sure that the service team receives technical information so they can provide a quote.
• Make sure that all administrative tasks, including job cards, equipment marking, service reports, and certification, are finished on time.
• Make sure that all required safety precautions and the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are followed.
• Keep the workshop neat and orderly, and keep the tools and work bays in good condition.
