Job summary

BeeX is preparing to launch a new underwater vehicle and seeks an experienced technical writer to create the end-user manual and training materials that ship with the product and support customer onboarding and internal teams.

You’ll translate technical specs and dive workflow into clear, accurate, easy-to-follow documentation for operators on the customers’ teams, working closely with engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing user manuals or instructional guides for hardware products (consumer electronics, marine, robotics, or similar)
• Ability to translate technical input into clear, non-technical language
• Strong portfolio of similar work (please share samples)
• Comfortable interviewing SMEs directly and working from source material

Responsibilities

• Create end-user manuals (PDF) for underwater vehicle products.
• Develop training materials to support customer onboarding and internal teams.
• Translate technical specs and dive workflow into clear documentation.
• Produce setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting guides.
• Include safety warnings and compliance information in manuals.
