Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, AV Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, AV installation, or field service; fresh graduates with strong hands-on ability are welcome.
  • Solid knowledge of computer hardware, networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, LAN, routers), and operating systems (Windows, Android, macOS).
  • Physically able to handle, move and install hardware on-site.
  • Good command of written and spoken English; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate local delivery, inventory checks, and transport of ClassIn hardware to client sites.
  • Perform on-site installation, setup, and software configuration.
  • Provide field support and diagnose hardware or network issues.
  • Log service tickets and collaborate with engineering for product improvements.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Singapore. You will play a key role in deploying ClassIn's smart classroom ecosystem across local educational institutions, training centers, and corporate clients. You will own hardware delivery, on-site installation and configuration, and reliable after-sales support, ensuring a seamless user experience from handoff onward.

Key Responsibilities
1. Local Delivery & Logistics
  • Coordinate order preparation, inventory checks, and local transportation of ClassIn hardware (e.g., Interactive Flat Panels, smart cameras, microphones, and peripheral devices) to client sites
  • Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate stock and asset records
2. On-Site Installation & Setup
  • Perform physical installation, mounting, cable management, and hardware assembly of smart classroom equipment
  • Configure software settings, operating systems (Windows/Android), and network connections, and run full system diagnostics before client handoff
  • Provide technical assistance and field support for client inquiries on ClassIn hardware and integrated software
  • Diagnose hardware failures and network issues; carry out on-site maintenance, repairs, and unit replacements as needed
  • Manage escalations and drive issues through to resolution within agreed service levels
4. Client Onboarding & Documentation
  • Conduct product training for teachers, IT administrators, and staff on using ClassIn hardware effectively
  • Log all service tickets, issue reports, and client feedback in the system, and collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to relay insights and support product improvement
  • Contribute to support documentation, installation guides, and best-practice materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Audio-Visual (AV) Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in IT support, AV installation, or field service preferred; fresh graduates with strong hands-on ability and relevant internship experience
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of computer hardware, networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, LAN, routers), and operating systems (Windows, Android, macOS)
  • Hands-on Ability: Physically fit and comfortable handling, moving, and installing technical hardware and AV equipment on-site
  • Communication Skills: Good command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage for working with regional technical support and supply chain teams
  • Soft Skills: Problem-solving mindset, customer-centric attitude, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizens, PRs, or valid work pass holders)
