Qualifications

• Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency required.
• Minimum 2 years LNG/LPG sailing experience at a management level or 2 years as a superintendent.
• Knowledge of Dual Fuel engines and LNG containment/handling systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Report to Fleet Manager and manage maintenance plans for assigned vessels.
• Monitor execution of maintenance work per plans.
• Evaluate onboard maintenance standards and manage breakdowns/defects.
• Manage survey requirements and certificates for vessels.
• Address incidents and perform root cause analyses with preventive actions.
• Prepare for inspections and dry dockings; provide written reports.
