Job summary

Thales Solutions Asia PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a diligent electronics technician to perform repairs and contribute to test and calibration activities at Changi.

You’ll work on analog and digital electronics with training provided, and may be assigned to shifts to meet turnaround targets. Fresh graduates are welcome; Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electronics Engineering is preferred. Responsibilities

• Performing proper repairs of unserviceable equipment and acting as a technical resource for failure analysis.
• Testing, repairs and modifications of equipment in line with quality programs and procedures.
• Respecting the turnaround time targets set by ARU Manager for repair activities.
• Maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment with support from M&T dept.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge with documentation like SBs, SILs, TIs and CMM updates.
• Ensuring on-time delivery of repairs and quality of repairs; contributing to improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing proper repairs of all unserviceable equipment for which he/she has been trained or assigned to perform and acting also as a technical resource in analysis of failures when required.
• Performing proper tests, repairs and modifications of unserviceable equipment in compliance with Thales Solutions Asia Quality programs as well as relevant procedures issued by Industrial Quality dept or the ARU Manager.
• Respecting the TAT target as given by the ARU Manager for all repair and/or modification activities.
• Maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment whenever necessary with the support of M&T dept.
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the product worked on with relevant technical documentation like SBs, SILs, TIs and updates of the CMM.
• Ensures the On-Time delivery of repairsand Quality of repairs
• Contributes to continuous improvement actions

Job Requirements:

• Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electronics Engineering
