Job summary

Thales Singapore is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to support our aviation and defense systems through testing, repair and modification of unserviceable items. You will work within our local team across three sites, applying diagnostic theory and industry procedures to meet performance objectives.

The ideal candidate holds Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, with strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, and the discipline to maintain documentation and

Qualifications

• Must have Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Competent in diagnostic theory and techniques.

Responsibilities

• To test, repair or modify unserviceable items to meet performance objectives.
• Perform proper repairs and act as a technical resource for failure analysis.
• Conduct proper tests, repairs or modifications in compliance with QA programs and procedures.
• Respect the turnaround time targets set by management.
• Maintain calibration and test equipment with support from M&T.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of products with relevant documentation (SBs, SILs, TIs, CMM updates).

Job Responsibilities:

• To Test, Repair /or Modify unserviceable items to meet performance objectives includes:
• Performing proper repairs of all unserviceable equipment for which he/she has been trained or assigned to perform and acting also as a technical resource in analysis of failures when required.
• Performing proper tests, repairs and or modifications in of unserviceable equipment in compliance with Thales Solutions Asia Quality programs as well as relevant procedures issued by Industrial Quality dept or the ARU Manager.
• Respecting the TAT target as given by the ARU Manager for all repair and/or modification activities.
• Maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment whenever necessary with the support of M&T dept.
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the product worked on with relevant technical documentation like SBs, SILs, TIs and updates of the CMM
