Job summary

Thales Singapore is seeking an Electronics Technician to test, repair or modify unserviceable items to meet performance objectives. You will perform diagnostics and tests, ensuring compliance with Thales Quality programs and ARU procedures.

You will respect turnaround times and maintain calibration of test equipment. Applicants should have Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, with strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics and diagnostic techniques.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electronics Engineering required.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Competent in in-depth diagnostic theory and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Test, repair or modify unserviceable items to meet performance objectives.
• Repair and analyze failures; act as technical resource in analysis when required.
• Perform tests, repairs or modifications in compliance with Thales Solutions Asia Quality programs and ARU procedures.
• Respect the turnaround time targets set by the ARU Manager for all repair/modification activities.
• Maintain calibration of test means or equipment with the support of M&T department.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of product documentation (SBs, SILs, TIs, CMM updates).

Job Responsibilities:

• To Test, Repair /or Modify unserviceable items to meet performance objectives includes:
• Performing proper repairs of all unserviceable equipment for which he/she has been trained or assigned to perform and acting also as a technical resource in analysis of failures when required.
• Performing proper tests, repairs and or modifications in of unserviceable equipment in compliance with Thales Solutions Asia Quality programs as well as relevant procedures issued by Industrial Quality dept or the ARU Manager.
• Respecting the TAT target as given by the ARU Manager for all repair and/or modification activities.
• Maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment whenever necessary with the support of M&T dept.
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the product worked on with relevant technical documentation like SBs, SILs, TIs and updates of the CMM
