Job summary

Thales Group in Singapore is seeking a technician to test, repair, and modify unserviceable items to meet performance objectives. The role requires a Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electronics Engineering and strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

Candidates will work within Thales’ Quality programs and ARU procedures, maintaining calibration of test equipment and staying current with technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Competent in the use of in-depth diagnostic theory and technique.

Responsibilities

• Test, repair or modify unserviceable items to meet performance objectives.
• Perform proper repairs of unserviceable equipment as trained.
• Test, repair, or modify equipment following Thales Quality programs and ARU procedures.
• Respect target TAT as set by the ARU Manager.
• Maintain test equipment and calibrate with M&T support.
• Stay updated with product docs like SBs, SILs, TIs, and CMM updates.

Job Responsibilities:

• To Test, Repair /or Modify unserviceable items to meet performance objectives includes:
• Performing proper repairs of all unserviceable equipment for which he/she has been trained or assigned to perform and acting also as a technical resource in analysis of failures when required.
• Performing proper tests, repairs and or modifications in of unserviceable equipment in compliance with Thales Solutions Asia Quality programs as well as relevant procedures issued by Industrial Quality dept or the ARU Manager.
• Respecting the TAT target as given by the ARU Manager for all repair and/or modification activities.
• Maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment whenever necessary with the support of M&T dept.
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the product worked on with relevant technical documentation like SBs, SILs, TIs and updates of the CMM
