Job summary

Thales Solutions Asia PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an electronics technician to join our repair team at Changi.

You will perform proper repairs of unserviceable equipment, test, and modify units in line with quality programs, and act as a technical resource in failure analysis. Fresh graduates with Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electronics Engineering are welcome. The role requires solid knowledge of analog and digital electronics and the ability to apply diagnostic theory and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Repair unserviceable equipment as trained and serve as a technical resource for failure analysis.
• Test, repair and modify equipment in line with Thales quality programs and ARU/Industrial Quality procedures.
• Respect the turnaround time (TAT) targets set by the ARU Manager.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment with support from M&T department.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge from SBs, SILs, TIs and CMM updates.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality of repairs; contribute to continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Performing proper repairs of all unserviceable equipment for which he/she has been trained or assigned to perform and acting also as a technical resource in analysis of failures when required.
• Performing proper tests, repairs and modifications of unserviceable equipment in compliance with Thales Solutions Asia Quality programs as well as relevant procedures issued by Industrial Quality dept or the ARU Manager.
• Respecting the TAT target as given by the ARU Manager for all repair and/or modification activities.
• Maintenance and calibration of test means or equipment whenever necessary with the support of M&T dept.
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the product worked on with relevant technical documentation like SBs, SILs, TIs and updates of the CMM.
• Ensures the On-Time delivery of repairsand Quality of repairs
• Contributes to continuous improvement actions
