Job summary

Keppel Data Centres is seeking a Manager, Technical Solutions to lead the design, implementation, and support of innovative technical solutions for data centre developments. You will manage teams, translate client requirements into feasible designs, and present solutions to clients while developing comprehensive documentation.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6+ years in technical solutions or data centre environments are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical solutions, systems architecture, or similar role within data centre or mission critical industry.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a technical team.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure including power, cooling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with design and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams of external technical partners and internal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Oversee end-to-end design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for data centre infrastructure.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into feasible technical designs.
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective and existing clients, articulating solution benefits and addressing technical queries.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution architectures, design specifications, and implementation guides.
• Ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices & standards, and Keppel Data Centres’ guidelines.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in data centre infrastructure.
• Participate in technical scoping and proposal development.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables for technical solution implementations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert-level support.
