Job summary

ICHOR SYSTEMS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional programs deploying and scaling advanced manufacturing capabilities across global sites, including NPI and product development, with a focus on volume readiness and operational execution.

You will drive executive communications, develop Gantt charts, risk management plans, and business cases, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards across multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven track record managing NPI and product development programs with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including system integration, test, welding, and surface treatment.
  • Experience with multi-site deployments and global operations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira) and Gantt chart development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical programs for manufacturing capability deployment.
  • Ensure ramp plans with capacity modeling, staffing, and process maturity.
  • Oversee installation and integration of systems across sites.
  • Perform 5M&E analysis to ensure readiness and stability.
  • Develop and maintain Gantt charts, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Build business cases with cost-benefit analysis and ROI.
  • Define operational scope, processes, and equipment needs.
  • Develop scalable execution strategies with risk mitigation and change management.
  • Facilitate cross-functional engagement across engineering, operations, supply chain, site leadership.
  • Prepare executive summaries and dashboards for leadership.
  • Ensure deployments meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Job description

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives that deploy and scale advanced manufacturing capabilities across global sites. The role encompasses New Product Introduction (NPI), product development project management, volume readiness, and operational execution. In addition, the TPM drives executive-level communication to ensure alignment and deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Program Leadership:Manage end-to-end technical programs for manufacturing capability deployment, including NPI and product development initiatives.
  • Volume Readiness:Ensure manufacturing sites are prepared to support ramp plans, including capacity modeling, equipment readiness, staffing, and process maturity.
  • Manufacturing Readiness:Oversee installation and integration of systems such as orbital welding, electropolish, and test infrastructure across multiple sites.
  • 5M&E Analysis:Conduct comprehensive assessments of Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement, and Environment to ensure site readiness and process stability.
  • Project Management:Develop and maintain Gantt charts, timelines, and resource plans to track progress and manage dependencies.
  • Business Case Development:Build and present business cases to justify investments, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI, and strategic alignment.
  • Operational Scope Definition:Collaborate with stakeholders to define operational scope, process flows, and equipment requirements.
  • Execution Strategy:Develop and implement scalable execution strategies for capability rollout, including risk mitigation and change management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, supply chain, and site leadership.
  • Executive Reporting:Prepare and deliver executive-level summaries, dashboards, and program updates to senior leadership.
  • Compliance & Quality:Ensure all deployments meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven track record managing NPI and product development programs with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including system integration, test, welding, and surface treatment.
  • Experience with multi-site deployments and global operations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira) and Gantt chart development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in cleanroom manufacturing, semiconductor, or high-purity systems.
  • Familiarity with orbital welding standards and electropolish process controls.
  • Hands-on experience conducting 5M&E assessments and driving operational improvements.
  • Experience supporting volume readiness and ramp planning.
  • PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Strong analytical skills for business case modeling and executive reporting
