Job summary

Akila in Singapore seeks a seasoned presales and delivery specialist to lead BMS solutions from validation to on-site deployment. You will ensure implementable designs, coordinate on-site construction, and drive quality with rigorous testing and data configuration.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in presales and system integration, strong Modbus/BACnet/ MQTT/ OPC UA expertise, IoT architecture know-how, and experience with energy management interfaces from major brands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in presales and solution experience for BMS projects.
• Proficient with Siemens WinCC and Honeywell Webs configurations.
• Expert in Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, OPC UA, and private protocols.
• Familiar with energy management software interfaces from major brands.
• Strong IoT architecture knowledge and sensor commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales feasibility and risk mitigation for technical proposals.
• Own on-site delivery, data configuration, and quality control.
• Audit technical architecture post-delivery and create playbooks.
• Consult on building management tech and energy data interfaces on site.
• Coordinate communication between product team and on-site control systems.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Pre-sales Feasibility & Risk Mitigation: Actively participate in the pre-sales phase to vet technical proposals. You are responsible for "de-risking" the project by ensuring that the proposed solution is fully implementable and aligned with field realities.
• On-site Delivery & Quality Control: Take full ownership of technical execution. This includes supervising on-site technical construction, managing platform data configuration, and ensuring the final deployment meets our rigorous quality standards.
• Technical Evaluation & Asset Creation: Post-delivery, conduct a comprehensive audit of the technical architecture. You will transform project-specific experiences into concrete documentation and standardized playbooks to drive continuous improvement.
• Be responsible for comprehensive building management technical consultation, including tech- communication with customers about data interface of automation equipment and networking on site.
• Independently complete the communication debugging and point-to-point integration between the product team and the on-site automatic control management system.

Key skills and competencies:

• Presales & Solution experience for BMS solution > 3 years
• Master the system integration function of Siemens WinCC and Honeywell webs system configuration.
• Expert in at least one industrial communication protocol: Modbus (RTU/TCP), BACnet, MQTT, OPC UA, with knowledge of private protocols from major manufacturers.
• Familiar with the interface integration of energy management software of mainstream brands (Schneider, abb, LongShine, Envision, etc.)
• Proficient in IoT architecture, familiar with the selection and commissioning of common sensors (temperature and humidity, current, voltage, etc.).
• Electronic information, automation, communication, computer and other related majors
• Operations and/or Technical background, good knowledge on Energy management.
• IoT / AI related project experience is a plus
