Job description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead the development of data center plans‑of‑record by synthesizing demand models with architectural and development cycle expertise. Integrate land and networking to provide investment options that enable Google’s growth.
  • Manage the data lifecycle from sourcing and building blocks to lineage and traceability, to publish a plan‑of‑record. Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders across the infrastructure stack.
  • Drive synergy across planning organizations by creating formal communication channels. Ensure alignment on asset definitions, physical attributes, and demand mapping while building consensus on core planning policies.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in technical program management with infrastructure, construction, data center projects or legal aspects in a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in managing cross‑functional programs.
  • 5 years of experience in program management or planning for data center infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with data centers or other infrastructure in the areas of supply planning, site development, construction, design, or engineering in a changing environment.

  • Ability to communicate and present data‑motivated stories around business insights.
