Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager focused onMechanical Data Center Supplier Quality in Singapore. You will drive multi-disciplinary engineering projects, plan requirements with internal customers, and shepherd projects from conception through lifecycle, with emphasis on supplier quality and data-driven decision-making.

You will lead quality investigations, collaborate with suppliers, and apply statistical methods to improve process control, with up to 75% travel as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in a mechanical or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in technical program management.
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
  • Experience with product field failure resolution and failure analysis.
  • Experience in manufacturing (e.g., setup of product quality plan or statistical analysis).
Preferred qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Blackbelt, Auditor Certifications or equivalent certification/experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data analysis, report creation, statistical modeling, and forecasting.
  • Prior experience working with, or implementing, industry standards such as ASTM, ASME, EN, IPC, or local equivalents.
  • Proficiency in design of experiments, statistical analysis and process control, and familiarity with application of statistical analysis tools such as Minitab/ANOVA.
  • Knowledge of mechanical standards, mechanical and infrastructure equipment applied to mission critical operations or data centers (EN, ISO, IATF, APQP)
  • Ability to travel up to 75% (20-50% likely), as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cooling and thermal system equipment suppliers, ensuring proactive quality management throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead in-depth power distribution failure investigations, identifying true root causes and implementing systemic corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze production metrics, test results, quality audits, and field performance data to establish statistical links and drive proactive quality improvementsValidate supplier build and test processes against Google requirements and relevant industry standards (e.g., PPAP) to ensure compliance and product lifecycle integrity.
  • Conduct supplier audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement in variability reduction, predictability, lead time optimization, and output quality enhancement.
  • Partner with suppliers and internal SMEs to resolve complex product quality and process issues across the full product lifecycle.Manage quality improvement projects involving both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results.
