Job summary

GovTech, Singapore's lead agency for public sector digital transformation, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own ApplySG's advanced capabilities from concept to launch.

You will define product vision, outcomes and roadmap aligned with government needs, engage internal users and external stakeholders, translate requirements, prioritise backlog, and guide delivery with engineers and vendors, ensuring post-launch adoption and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in software engineering, product management, digital solution ownership, business analyst or similar roles.
• Strong technical foundation (architecture, integration, data, security fundamentals).
• Experience working with Agile or iterative delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.

[What you will be working on]

• Define product vision, outcomes and roadmap aligned with business and industry needs

• Engage internal users and external industry stakeholders to identify problems and priorities

• Translate needs into clear functional and technical requirements and acceptance criteria

• Guide iterative delivery and releases with engineering teams and vendors

• Own product post go-live, including adoption, stability and continuous improvement

• Analyse issues, drive root cause analysis and prioritise improvements

Technical & Architecture Responsibilities:

• Provide strong technical product leadership, including evaluating solution options and trade-offs

• Where required, act as the product’s solution architect, defining high-level architecture, integration approach, data flows and non-functional requirements

• Where a dedicated architect exists, partner closely to drive coherent technical decisions
