Job summary

Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) seeks a Technical Product Manager to join Singapore Global Network (SGN). You will support the development of data lakehouse and member-facing digital products, applying product management, design thinking and agile practices to deliver business outcomes.

You will coordinate across business units and engineering, translate requirements into backlog items, manage stakeholder communications, and help ensure security and governance standards are met.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project management methodology, or familiarity with major PM approaches (e.g., AGILE, Scrum).
• Strong analytics skillset; Tableau knowledge would be a plus.
• Basic understanding of data modelling.
• Understands UI/UX and how to gather user requirements.
• Blends business acumen with planning and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire product lifecycle of assigned digital products from planning to execution.
• Understand user requirements and work with business units to develop the product vision.
• Partner with stakeholders to determine product features and functions.
• Manage communications between cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into tasks in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Provide user support and develop user guides across the product lifecycle.
• Provide level 1 technical support to business users and escalate to engineering as needed.
• Conduct procurement exercises (tenders, RFPs) to obtain solutions and services.
• Review external proposals to decide whether to insource or outsource projects.
• With security team, conduct risk assessment and ensure compliance with policies.
• Establish reporting standards and documentation procedures.
• Benchmark team performance to improve capability maturity.
