Job summary

SMRT Corporation, Ltd. seeks a Technical Officer for ISCS & Comms to maintain Circle Line ISCS systems including CMS, Depot, Station, and Plant management systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, work on shift cycles, and ensure safety and security of ISCS rooms and equipment.

The role involves hands-on maintenance and coordination with the team. The ideal candidate has Nitec/Higher Nitec in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering and can handle a rotating 3-shift

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Able to work on 3 shift rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general housekeeping, safety and security of ISCS equipment rooms and home office areas.
• Perform daily and preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) of ISCS systems and equipment.
• Second line repair at component level when appropriate.
• Act as PM/PIC/SPIC for ISCS work.
• Provide maintenance support in fault-finding and joint investigations.
• Assist in disposal of condemned or obsolete ISCS equipment or parts.
• Comply with safety procedures at all times.

Technical Officer, ISCS & Comms

Job Purpose

The Technical Officer, Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS) is responsible to perform Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of Circle Line’s ISCS systems such as Central Management System, Depot Management System, Station Management System and Plant Management System.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general housekeeping, safety, and security of all the ISCS equipment rooms and home office areas at all times
• Perform daily maintenance activities, Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Corrective Maintenance (CM) of ISCS system and equipment
• Second line (at component level) repair may be assigned when appropriate
• To act as PM\PIC\SPIC for any ISCS work
• Provide maintenance support to other section in fault- finding and joint investigation
• Assist in the disposal of condemned and unusable/obsolete ISCS equipment or parts
• To comply with and exercise safety at all times in accordance with all Safety Procedures
• Carrying of tool bag (5-12kg), distributed amongst 2-3 team members
• Transportation, installation and dismantling of equipment (average ~15kg)
• Administrative duties, if required, electronic tablet, on trackside and in office
• Staff required to perform maintenance on equipment installed on ground level at trackside, 30-45 minutes per item, 3.5h maximum at trackside
• Required to climb ladder not more than 3m for equipment checks
• Undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of the works assigned by Supervisor when required
