Job summary

SMRT Corporation Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for operating and maintaining electrical and power-related system equipment in our network. The role ensures compliance with QP/WIs/Work Records and supports Kaizen initiatives to improve maintenance efficiency.

Key duties include preventive and corrective maintenance, data entry, safe housekeeping, and collaboration with the Assistant Engineer on broader maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ NITEC in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronic/Electromechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Past working experience in electronic servicing industries or with relevant maintenance/troubleshooting power and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on all electrical and power-related system equipment.
• Attend to the Corrective Maintenance (CM) on all electrical and power-related system equipment.
• Ensure compliance with work procedures when carrying out any maintenance work.
• Carry out necessary data entries as required in the Maintenance Management System.
• Practice safe and proper housekeeping.
• Assist Assistant Engineer (AE) in maintenance related tasks.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Actively participate in Kaizen projects to enhance maintenance processes and equipment performance.
• Support project initiatives, testing and commissioning for new projects.

Education

Professional Certificate/ NITEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electromechanical or equivalent
