OceanMaster Engineering PTE LTD seeks a Mechanical/HVAC professional to support the Operations/Workshop Manager in daily duties. You will provide technical guidance to Technicians on troubleshooting, installation, and compressor overhauls, while ensuring QA/QC and safety across RHVAC jobs, including offshore projects.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC, with 3–5 years of experience, and a readiness for on-the-job training and independent, team-based work.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field.
• Certifications in safety (e.g., WSQ, OSHA) or HVAC systems may be preferred.
• Good communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle technical queries.

Responsabilidades

• Report directly to the Operations / Workshop Manager and assist in day-to-day operational duties.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians on Troubleshooting, Installation, Materials and Tools, MSO, compressor overhauls, and D&I Reports.
• Conduct progress checks of quality and QA/QC for RHVAC jobs during assembly and installation.
• Assist Operations Manager with technical enquiries or issues on specialized projects.
• Ensure safety is observed at all times within workshop, shipyard or offshore and comply with OceanMaster quality and HSE policies.
• Adhere to no wastage policy of materials and labor and handle any other assignments from management.

Job Description

• To report directly to the Operations / Workshop Manager and to support them in the day-to-day operational duties.
• To provide technical advice to Technicians to the following areas :-

• Troubleshooting
• Installation
• Materials and tools
• Raising MSO (proper training to be provided during reasonable transition period)
• Compressor overhauling and D & I Reports (proper training to be provided during reasonable transition period)

• Technical advice to assisting Sales/Commercial pertaining to the Quotation.
• To conduct progress checking of quality of work and QA/QC for RHVAC related jobs, i.e. during assemble installation etc.
• To assist Operation Manager on any technical enquiries or issues for any specific or specialized projects as and when needed.
• To ensure safety is being implemented at all times within their sections when working in workshop, shipyard or offshore.
• To comply with quality of work requirements of OceanMaster at all times.
• To comply with protection of environment and health & safety policies of OceanMaster at all times.
• To adhere to no wastage policy of OceanMaster in terms of materials and labor to assigned jobs at all times.
• Any other assignment as directed by your reporting Manager or his duly authorized Officers.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, preferably with supervisory or technical advisory exposure
• Certifications in safety (e.g., WSQ, OSHA) or HVAC systems may be preferred
• Good communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle technical queries
• Open to on-the-job training (MSO, compressor overhauls, Dismantling & Inspection reports)
• Team player with positive attitude at work
• Able to work independently
