Job summary

The Curtain Boutique in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Technical Manager to oversee technical operations, installation standards, product quality, and technical support across Curtains, Blinds, Ziptrak®, and Outdoor Solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Production, and Installation teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and developing installation SOPs.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills required.
• Experience managing installation teams and site operations.
• Able to read drawings, site measurements, and technical specs.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Manager to oversee technical operations, installation standards, product quality, and technical support across our Curtains, Blinds, Ziptrak®, and Outdoor Solutions divisions.

You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Production, and Installation teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and solutions for projects and site issues

• Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot installation challenges

• Establish and maintain installation and quality standards

• Lead quality audits and reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints

• Train and develop installers and technical staff

• Develop and improve SOPs, workflows, and technical processes

• Evaluate new products and installation methods

• Work closely with suppliers, operations, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, renovation, curtains & blinds, roofing, outdoor structures, or related industries

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills

• Experience managing installation teams and site operations

• Able to read drawings, site measurements, and technical specifications

• Good communication and leadership skills

• Possess Class 3 driving licence is an advantage
