Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking an Operational Lead (Cloud & Infrastructure) to oversee the stability, security, and delivery of hybrid enterprise systems in Singapore. You will manage daily IT operations and drive ITIL-aligned incident, change, and problem management across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing hybrid enterprise environments with cloud exposure (AWS/Azure).
• Operational knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, networks, and monitoring tools.
• Proven leadership in guiding engineering teams and service delivery.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and automation concepts such as Terraform.
• Experience in government sector environments is advantageous.
• Relevant IT degree or equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day service operations, guide dedicated technical teams, and promote accountability and innovation.
• Drive ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management workflows to meet SLAs and minimize downtime.
• Supervise cloud resources across multi-cloud environments and core infrastructure components.
• Maintain security standards, manage IAM, and support audits.
• Embed Infrastructure as Code, automate repetitive tasks, and refine DR/backup strategies.
• Oversee third-party vendors and MSP performance, with clear internal communications.

We are seeking a proactive and proven Operational Lead (Cloud & Infrastructure) to oversee the stability, security, and continuous delivery of our client's hybrid enterprise systems.

In this position, you will be key to managing everyday technology operations, optimizing infrastructure performance, and driving continuous improvement across cloud and on-premises environments.

• Day-to-day service operations, guide dedicated technical teams, and promote a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Drive end-to-end incident, problem, and change management workflows in line with ITIL practices to meet defined service levels and minimize operational downtime.
• Supervise cloud resources across multi-cloud environments while ensuring robust oversight of core servers, storage, virtual platforms, and networking systems.
• Maintain compliance against established security standards, manage identity and access control frameworks, and support internal/external audit requirements.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed Infrastructure as Code, automate repetitive tasks, and refine disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Oversee third-party vendors, manage managed service provider performance, and maintain clear communications with key internal business partners.

skills and experience required:

• Strong background overseeing hybrid enterprise environments with hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure).
• Solid operational knowledge across core infrastructure components including Windows/Linux servers, virtualized setups, networks, and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Leadership background with proven experience guiding engineering teams, managing service delivery, and driving vendor performance.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework best practices and modern automation concepts (such as Terraform or scripting languages).
• Exposure to working within or supporting public sector / government agency environments in Singapore is advantageous.
• Relevant tertiary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
